Cocktail Flow 2.0

There are countless types of cocktails out there and they’re all someone’s favorites. Whether they’re quite strong or don’t contain an ounce of alcohol, whether they’re blue, green or orange, are based on gin or tequila, there’s an app that can help you figure out how to make everything.

Cocktail Flow is an app that holds a really wide collection of cocktails, wrapped up in a really cute interface. The main page holds a lot of top cocktails, those that are particularly popular among the crowds. Aside from a picture of how these should look like, you’ll notice the name and a bubble containing some numbers in them, which, in fact, are the percentage of alcohol included.

Get instructions

As you tap on any of them, you’ll find a list of ingredients, as well as step-by-step instructions on how to mix the drink.

As you scroll through the top menu you’ll be able to discover various other categories that you can have fun with. The second tab, called “Selections,” puts all the cocktails under category. On one hand, you’ll be able to check them out by type, while on the other you’ll be able to start off with the base spirit used for it. You may also look for cocktails with a certain amount of alcohol, or a certain color, or some that are from a certain country around the world or better fit for a certain type of celebration.

To make things even nicer, you can just search the app for the recipe of a certain cocktail that you love, but don’t have the patience to browse for.

Mix and match

The app comes with a last section and perhaps the one that’s the nicest of them all – the Lounge. Here,  you’ll be able to pick whatever you have in your house and let the app find things for you, offering options that can be mixed with the ingredients in your home. The selection process is extremely wide, starting off with basic ingredients, following with liqueurs, spirits, sodas and juices, spices, dairy, oils and so on. Fruits are also on the list if you want to use those as well. As you add more ingredients in your pantry and bar, the app will deliver more recipes that you can put together.
