Cartier - Catalogue 1.1

There are several well-known jewelers in the world, some that you’ve heard about more than others. Generally speaking, those that you have heard about frequently are those that have a long tradition in the business, being around not only for a few years, but more like for decades and longer.

Cartier is one of those brands. Founded in Paris back in 1847, Cartier is one of the oldest such companies in the world, producing jewelry and wrist watches. The company has a long history of delivering expensive pieces not only to Hollywood starlets, but also to royal families, gaining a name for itself as “the jeweler of kings”.

That being said, one thing that you can’t expect from Cartier is to find cheap products. Basically, if your pockets aren’t extremely deep, then you’re probably not going to afford anything Cartier makes, but that doesn’t mean you can’t at the very least enjoy looking at its products.

The Cartier – Catalogue app is exactly that, a way for you to check out the latest creations from the famous jeweler.

The app itself is extremely simple to use. The main screen is covered with pictures of various pieces that you’ll want to own. You can scroll through the pages, checking out the rings, bracelets, watches and necklaces.

When you like one of these, you can tap on the item and the picture will expand to show you everything it has offer. Some of the items you’ll find have a bit of magic in the presentation, meaning that you can rotate them to see them from all angles, or you can tap on the item to see another color scheme that’s available, which is mostly possible for watches.

Search for items

The app comes with a search feature that lets you pick whether the items you’re looking for are “for him” or “for her”. Alternatively, you can decide if you want to see only jewelry, watches or accessories.

The catalogue app further lets you sign up for a newsletter so you can get the latest updates with what Cartier is doing. If you want to contact an advisor or to find a boutique near you selling Cartier pieces,  you’ll be redirected to the company’s site and from there you’ll be able to use your location to get in contact with someone who can help out or to find the closest shop.
