The app’s interface is easy to navigate and focuses on the many news coming from the sports worlds. The top area features the latest news of great importance, while below you’ll be able to see other articles as they come up. Alternatively, you can pick to see the most important news by sports.
Videos and audio commentaries can be checked out from a section placed beneath, as well as any other game analysis and so on.

Hidden goodies

The app’s side menu, which is accessible via the famous hamburger button, gives you quick access to multiple areas of the app, including the home page. Furthermore, you can switch and read news about specific sports you’re interested too, including football, American football, Formula 1, rugby, tennis, golf and more. In fact, if the sports that you find in the quick access list aren’t on your personal favorites list, you can just tap the Edit button and remove the ones you dislike and add others that you do love, even if that includes darts, netball and squash.

Another cool feature that BBC Sport comes with is the ability to set up alerts for football, Formula 1 and cricket. When it comes to football, users can pick whether they’re interested in the international scene, Premier League teams or various other championships, for which you can get alerts for line-ups, the kick-off, goals, the half-time score and the final result.

All in all, this is a pretty nice app that will surely interest a lot of users. It surely brings a lot of useful information to the table, perhaps more than what your regular sports fan expects and needs.
