One of such apps is Wifi Scanner & Net Discovery. It's a nice application that displays all sort of information on WiFI networks and lets you know which one would be more stable.
Simplistic UI with only a few features at hand
The app doesn't launch with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient since new users could always benefit from some tips when launching a new app. It also lacks material design or a side menu for quick access to sections inside the app.
Still, the app makes it easy to access sections by simply swiping the screen left or right in order to navigate inside the app and view details. It doesn't need online registration, simply launch the app and you're good to go. However, the UI is a bit dark and there's no option to adjust font size which is a bit small.

The app launches directly with a graph displaying the strength of all WiFi networks found in your location. It uses different colors for each network so you could distinguish between them better. It displays a graph with occupied channels and one with channel occupancy.
Swipe the screen left to view a chart with ap timecourse, the strength of channels and more. The app displays a whole list of available WiFi networks, providing you with information on channels and security, together with strength and frequency.
Some flaws
Unfortunately, the app doesn't come with a settings menu or any kind of changes that you can do to the UI. It displays text in a rather small font size and users can't enlarge it. In addition, you can't zoom in on the information and there's no option of sharing it or printing it.
It displays a link to the app's website on the top of the screen, but that's about it. The app desperately needs some settings and more features, to make it more appealing to users. It manages to do its job, but it's quite rudimentary and with few options.
