WiFi Analyzer by Zoltán Pallagi 1.2.9
One of these apps is WiFi Analyzer by Zoltán Pallagi. It analyzes your internet connection and lets you know the vulnerable areas. It's filled with all sort of tools that help you diagnose your internet connection.
Intuitive interface that could use an upgrade
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient since new users could always benefit from some instructions or tips on how to access tools inside the app. It doesn't use material design and it lacks a side menu with quick access to all of its features.
Still, it has a settings menu hidden under the overflow icon on the top right corner of the screen. A toolbar on the bottom of the screen provides users with access to all sort of features that they can use.
Analyze your WiFi network
The home screen is filled with all sort of data and details on your internet connection, you can navigate through sections by simply tapping on the tabs on the top of the screen. It displays the links speed and AP latency, together with signal strength. It also shows you the local IP address, frequency and channel.
It displays access point and DHCP details. It has a graph that shows you an analysis of networks and details on the one that you're connected to. You can also check out other available networks and adjust the opacity of the chart.
More features
The app is great for analyzing your internet network, it displays the link speed, latency, signal power level, DNS resolving and the security of your connection.
It also shows you the frequency of your network and if it's overlapping. It gives users some tips on how to solve potential problems that might occur, which is quite nice. The app comes with some settings under the menu, you can adjust the refresh time or pick the hostname to test DNS resolving.
In addition, you can opt out of anonymous data collection, if you don't want the app to collect data and send it to its website. It also has a section filled with details on all the networks in your proximity, their signal strength and frequency.
