Powerful Control 6.0.733
One of such apps is Powerful Control. It's a nice application that lets you create widgets for power controls on home screen. It doesn't have that many customization options but that doesn't mean that it's not well worth a try.
Intuitive but simplistic interface
The app doesn't launch with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient since users always find some tips beneficial. Still, the UI is quite intuitive and it has all features at hand.
It sports a rather simplistic UI, it doesn't use material design and it doesn't have a side menu with quick access to sections. The home screen has some basic tips for users, if you want more information it will open some instructions in a Google Now card.
It has a section that explains permissions, which is quite nice since not that many applications have that and you may find yourself wondering why certain apps require access to so many areas of your phone.
Enable power controls
By default, the app opens a toolbar at the top of the screen with some toggles. It contains toggles for your WiFi connection, mobile data, Bluetooth, volume control, brightness and screen orientation.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to add more in the toolbar which is quite inconvenient considering that they're not merely enough. In addition, they come in gray and no colors are added if you enable them. It would have been better if they changed color once enabled since it's quite difficult to see them especially if you're outside.
Add widgets on your home screen
The app comes with two types of widgets that you can apply, one with five toggles and the other with just one. You can't customize the one with five toggles unless you access the settings menu and it has some shortcuts that are already available in the status bar toggle.
The app lets you choose from data sync, airplane mode and location services for the 1x1 widget but it would have been nice if it had more features. Still, this widget comes with two themes, default or translucent.
The app has some settings that you can adjust, users can change the notification priority, change the status bar icon type, add more toggles to widgets or access root settings.
