Pintasking 1.0.9
But sometimes when you're using more than one app, you may need a way in which you could pin them to your home screen. Pintasking can help you with just that. It lets you pin your most important applications to the side of your screen.
Sleek UI with plenty to offer
The app launches with a very comprehensive tutorial, showing users everything they need to know in order to get a preliminary overview of the app's tools and what it offers. It's best to follow the instructions, although the app sports a rather fluent UI, it may seem a bit confusing and difficult to use.
Still, this app proves to be really useful in various situations, especially when you need to work with multiple apps at once and switch between them. It lets users do just that seamlessly and without wasting time.
Customize the app to meet your needs
In order to pin applications to the side of the screen, you need to first launch them and then pull down the notification bar to pin them. You have the option of customizing your pins, you can adjust the size, distance to the edge or have the app switch to the last task after pinning one.
There's also the option of not allowing pins to stick at the height of the navigation bar and possibly block it. The same goes with the bottom of the screen, since that's where the keyboard opens.
More features and some flaws
The app comes with a browse extension, it allows users to enhance their browsers and make them even more powerful. You can adjust the overlay bar and set it to whichever side you want. But in order to do so, users need to set Pintasking as their default browser for http links.
The app won't work on all phones, it may have trouble with Samsung and those running Android 5.x. Therefore, to make sure it works on your device, you'll need to root it and use the accessibility helper mode. However, this may result in longer animations and a low possibility that Pintasking will interchange two apps.
The free version of the app lets you pin only two applications to the home screen. If you want to unlock more features and get more pins, you'll have to upgrade to the premium version for 4.79$.
