Mini Launcher 2.04
Fortunately, Google Play Store offers lots of apps that could help you with just that. One of such apps is Mini Launcher. It's a launcher with some customization settings that resembles the KitKat layout in case you wanted to try it out.
Sleek design with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient considering that users always like to get some tips when checking out a new app. Still, seeing how Mini Launcher copies the design of KitKat which is quite familiar to some users.
The app comes with quite a few customization options, users have the chance to change the theme and make the app their own. Unfortunately, there's no option to import folders or icons from your previous launcher so you'll have to create new ones and arrange them on your screen again.
Customize the app to your liking
You'll get access to the settings menu from the home screen, the app lets you browse through a whole store filled with themes and download the one that you like the most. You can also adjust the desktop grid, pick a transition effect for screens, enable wallpaper scrolling and adjust the quantity and arrangement of screens.
There's also the option to add a different scroll effect for when you're in the app drawer and to adjust the background transparency. Drawer app can also be hidden from the home screen. The launcher comes with the option of changing the color theme and adjusting the scroll and animation speed.
More features
It has a whole section with gestures that you can check out. It does have a feature for importing the desktop layout from another launcher, but it's in the beta version and it might be a bit buggy.
The app also comes with a side bar that lets you manage apps working in the background. However, you'll need to download this extra feature from Google Play Store but the good news is that it's free of charge and comes with two themes that you can choose from.
In addition, the app comes with a folder on the home screen, filled with all of the most important system apps and it gives users the option to add and remove them as they wish. Users can arrange apps in the drawer, create folders or hide them so that they wouldn't be visible.
