Discover new places
This app is a must when you're on vacation, as it can get you suggestions of really interesting places that you can check out. It uses animation to open cards with information on places, while the whole interface is quite lightweight.
All places are arranged by categories, you can check out cool buildings, museums, restaurants or other places to eat, stores, studios, cafes, clubs, libraries, all pinned on your map and you can connect with Google Maps to get directions to where you wish to go.
Save cards and check them later
Users have the option to save cards to their phones, so they can check them out faster and create a list of liked cards. In addition, cards can be shared with friends on social networks. You'll find a whole section with saved places in the side menu.
There you can also check out recent notifications and the settings menu with some changes that you can make to the app. When you launch the app, you're automatically signed into your Google account and you can get emails with events, promotions, offers and news.
Notifications can be disabled at any time from the settings menu, you can also change the ringtone and add vibration. Notification can be snoozed on low battery, so you could save what little is left of your resources.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface is really nice with a side and easy to access to all features and sections, but no material design. |
Function8
It takes a while to load and even though you'll find interesting places, some of them might not be featured in the app. |
Security8
It needs access to many sections of your phone, but it shouldn't really pose any privacy issues. |
Battery5
Consumption is quite high, since the app needs users to keep location services and internet connection on at all times. |
Price10
It doesn't come with any ads or in-app purchases. |
Compatibility8
It should work on work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later, making the app available to many users. |
It's a nice app but it takes a while to load and needs some improvements.
