Sleek interface that would need some more work
An intuitive UI is really important, especially for such apps that help find content fast. The application doesn't come with instructions, but it's easy-to-use interface shouldn't pose any issues for new users. Poynt comes with animation, you can enable it by tapping on the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen.
The app provides you with search results based on your current location, the search radius can be changed and expanded to up to 200 km or miles. But the app doesn't have any customization features, so users can't change the UI and make it their own.
Find restaurants and book hotels
The app comes with many sections and features but before you can enjoy them, you'll need to enable location services or type in a city of your choice. You can then start searching for services.
There's a search bar at the top of the screen and the app has slides with suggestions of services you may find nearby. Find and book hotel rooms, the app uses booking.com to provide you with the best deals near you as well as reviews by users.
But it takes you out of the app for booking. Still, you can sort hotels by popularity or arrival/departure dates. There's also the option of seeing all available hotel rooms on a map with your location.
Search for deals, parking spaces and events
The app also lets you find restaurants near you, parking space or even events. All sections have their own set of filters, so you'd be able to find what you're looking for fast. Other than that, you can check the weather inside the app, Poynt uses Accuweather.com for that.
Access your contacts list to place calls or find the lowest gas prices at stations near you. It also comes with a section featuring the best deals for various products and services.
