Ampere v1.54
It's a really cute applications with lots of useful features for measuring the speed with which you phone charges. This is especially useful if you're having problems with your battery and need to check if your charger does its job or it's broken.
Sleek interface with much to offer
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions which is quite unfortunate since new users could have really benefited from some tips on how to use this app.
Still, it sports a really intuitive interface with all the tools that you might need displayed on your home screen. It doesn't use material design, but you wouldn't really need it since it has a settings menu under an icon on the top of the screen.
Check the charging and discharging power of your phone
This app won't work on all devices, only those that have an appropriate measurement chip (or the interface). Users would have to check the list provided on the app's Google Play page or the developer's website for more information.
The app displays the average discharging values in mA, together with the minimum and maximum values. It also shows you the status of your phone, the battery level, health, technology, temperature, voltage, model, Android version and build ID.
The same is displayed for when you're phone is plugged in to a wall outlet. The app might not work if you've connected your phone to your laptop or PC and it's charging from there.
More features
The interface is quite nice, it changes colors to green when the phone is plugged in and orange when it's discharging. Moreover, you can make some settings to the app, there's the option to choose the measurement method, to display temperature in C or F, to pick from two themes or to change the language.
Other than that, you can enable alerts for when the battery is full, pick a low level or for when it reaches a certain temperature that you can set. You can also pick the alert method, either vibration, sound or lights if your phone supports it. The app comes with some banner ads which you can remove if you pay 1.09$ for an upgrade.
