Workout Trainer 6.5
Sleek interface with plenty of features
The first thing you’ll need to do in the app is create an account. Choose from your Google or Facebook profiles, or type in an email address to register. Next, you have to provide personal data so the app can select one of the many programs suitable for you and your goal.
Provide information on your gender and date of birth, together with the frequency with which you workout per week. The app has programs designed for people who regularly do exercises or those who are new to the field. Still, the app doesn’t ask you to input your current weight and height, as most workout apps do.
Choose a workout program
You have the option of choosing from programs that require intense workout for up to 7 days a week, or those that need you to do exercises only one day a week. But the program also depends on your goal, whether you wish to lose weight, straighhten core, build or tone muscle, or improve flexibility.
The side menu on the left provides quick access to all features of the app, including exercises and settings. You have the option of connecting with friends on Facebook or Google+ and helping them stay motivated.
Start achieving your goals
There are various programs you can choose from based on their duration and the expected effect. However, many of them must be purchased and prices start at 9.99$. In addition, you can get access to many areas of the app if you upgrade to a premium account for 6.99$ per month.
Still, there are workout exercises you can pick, they come with pictures and clear instructions. There’s also a community of people who wish to lose weight and stay fit, so you can ask your questions and receive answers from people who are familiar with all the issues that you may encounter.

The interface is neat, although it seems a bit crowded and confusing at times. Still, it comes with tips. |
Function9
It’s filled with exercises for all sorts of goals and body sections, so you’ll surely find everything you need in this app. |
Security8
Registration is required, you can use your Facebook or Google+ accounts and the app won’t post on your behalf. |
Battery8
Consumption is normal for a workout app, so you don’t have to worry about that. |
Price8
Some exercises are free, but for programs with schedules and reminders you’ll have to subscribe. |
Compatibility8
The app should work just fine on devices running Android version 2.3.3 or later. |
It seems a bit clogged with too much information, but it does provide everything you need to reach your goal.
