UCam 5.3.6.091015
UCam is one of such apps. It probably has the nicest interface we've ever seen and offers some features that not many photography apps have. It lets you apply nice filters onto the camera mode, adjust light and contrast or edit pictures after you've taken them.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
This app really packs a lot of features under its interface, so it's absolutely necessary for it to provide users with instructions. And it does, each time you access a section it displays tips to make new users understand how the app works.
It opens directly with the camera mode, but you can access the menu easily with the touch of a button. The background changes every couple of seconds, sporting stylish and HD images. The app saves edited pictures in jpeg format, there are no other file types to choose from but it lets users pick a destination folder of their choice.
Apply filters to the camera mode
Users have the option of choosing their preferred picture quality, of applying a timestamp, geotagging their pictures or adjusting the frame rate or the size of the image of up to 1280x720.
You can also have the app automatically focus images or assign operation to the volume key. UCam also tells you approximately how many more pictures fit to your phone's memory or lets you adjust screen brightness.
Filters are available even in the camera mode and the app comes with plenty, more than 100 some professional, some really nice and artistic but all arranged into categories.
Edit pictures like a pro
The app also lets you enable the stabilizer or timer if you need them. Tap on the settings icon to change the scene, choose from landscape, night, snow, sunset, etc. You can also adjust white balance, picture size or exposure even before the picture is taken.
Still, if you don't have the time to make all these changes in the camera mode, simply snap a picture and start editing. Aside from all these options, you can also add stickers, text, frames to your images.
The beautify option lets you add makeup to your pictures, while the collage feature lets you create amazing collages with your pictures. Use the camcorder and panorama tools if you want more features, they all come with extra options.
