Some photo editors come with intricate interfaces and complicated features that may leave some users utterly confused. But Photofy has a well structured UI, that incorporates many nice and complex features for editing pictures.
Sleek and easy-to-use interface
The app sports are really well structured interface that provides users with easy access to all its features and tools. It has several home screens, with shortcuts to sections inside the app and with tools for editing pictures.
It doesn't really launch with a tutorial, but you can access instructions from the side menu on the right. Users may also register with their Facebook or Google account, to save projects or manage purchases of items inside the app. You can either start by snapping new pictures or creating collages with the ones saved inside your phone.
Edit pictures like a pro
The app doesn't use your stock gallery application to open pictures, but rather has a distinct section for managing pictures and importing the ones you'd like to edit. You can use pinch gestures to zoom and rotate your photo. Or use various icons to crop and rotate pictures every 90 degrees.
Once you've entered the editor, you still have the option of changing the picture at any time. The app also lets you change the aspect ratio of pictures, display them either in square, portrait or landscape modes. You can also adjust the intensity of colors, brightness, contrast and saturation.
Apply all sorts of filters and effects to your pictures and collages
It comes with 30 filters to pick from, together with many effects and lets you adjust the transparency of overlays. Text can also be added, the app lets you pick fonts and styles. It comes with an extensive gallery of stickers to pick from, together with many frames.
They're all arranged into categories and subsections to make it easier to access them. The same goes with frames and all these elements can be added on collages, also created inside the app.
Save pictures and share them online, but keep in mind that the app applies a watermark to every edited image. You can remove the watermark if you pay 0.99$. The app reduces the resolution of the output image compared to the original picture.
