Sleek interface with HD wallpapers
We've gotten used to launchers with nice interfaces, HD background images and many customization features. But the concept behind Smart Screen Launcher is quite different compared to that of other launchers.
It comes with a tutorial that shows you all the nice features you can do inside the app, which not all launchers have. The app doesn't have that many customization features, there's no option of choosing screen transition effects, of adding other wallpapers or changing settings for the app drawer. It's not the most customizable launcher on the market, but it sure is among the most stylish and unique.
Switch through multiple modes
The whole idea behind this launcher is to switch between different modes depending on the time of day. You can also have the app automatically switch between a work day and evening. There are 7 modes you can choose from, auto-switch, fresh mode, fancy party, etc.
The wallpaper and layout are different, but there are resemblances between modes. The auto-switch mode launches the sleep mode at the time when you usually go to bed and turns off your wifi, mobile data and sets your phone to be silent, but lets the alarm sound so you can wake up and not be late to work. You can set your work screen to start when you arrive to work and end when you leave.
Customize your screens
Each mode is unique in its way. The fancy party screen has shortcuts to the camera, so you can snap pictures fast, to your media files and has animation with rolling dice. Still, the app drawer is available in all modes and you can set shortcuts to your favorite apps in a section that's visible in all modes.
The weekend mode has a player in the home screen and shortcuts to Facebook, Google Play Store and other apps that people would use during their spare time. It also displays the weather in all modes, but keeps forgetting your location when you switch to different themes.
