Easy-to-use UI that doesn’t need an instructions
The interface is really intuitive, it opens with a virtual drum neatly arranged on the screen, to make it easy to thump on each cymbal, without accidentally touching the one next to it. The app comes with ads but they won’t be bothersome. The app launched with actual drums and a toolbar with all helpful features.
Play the drums like a pro
There are no instructions on how to use the app, so feel free to explore it and have fun by simply thumping on cymbals. You can also enable animation and vibration or enable rimshot, for when you want to produce an accented snare drum backbeat.
You can adjust the drums volume from the menu bar or adjust the volume of loops and songs. There’s also the option of enabling the immersive mode, which increases the quality of sound.
Record your songs
You can change the setup of your drum set and add or remove pieces. There’s the option of adding a tambourine, displaying the cowbell or certain cymbals. The app comes with a shortcut for changing the position of certain cymbals, to assist users who are left handed.
Real Drum app comes with the option of recording all the songs you play with the simple tap of one icon. Unfortunately, you can’t change the name of the file but you can access it quickly from the toolbar. There’s a distinct section which gives you access to the records, comes with a set of lessons, loops and songs on your device that you may load.
Lessons are really easy to understand, you must simply listen to a beat and see which cymbals were thumped and then repeat. Add loops to your recordings to make them more interesting, you can choose from country, heavy metal, rock and hip-hop.
