Quadrant Standard Edition 2.1.1
One of the applications that could help you with just that is Quadrant Standard Edition. It performs benchmarking tests and lets you know how the device ranks among others on the market. However, the app's disadvantage is that it hasn't been updated for a while so it may compare your device to those that are several years old.
Intuitive but boring interface
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions for new users to get a general idea on what the app can do and which features they could access. It also doesn't use material design which is quite inconvenient. Instead of having all sections neatly arranged in a side menu on the left, they're displayed in a list on the home page.
The UI is quite dark and there are no customization features, while icons for sections are gray and don't really come with an appealing design. The app also lacks a settings menu, it doesn't have any extra features for users.
Run benchmarking tests
The app lets you run all sort of benchmarking tests on your phone, as to provide a ranking of its performance and that of other similar applications. The full benchmark test calculates CPU capacity, memory, 2D and 3D graphics. It also tests FPS performance by playing all sort of graphics and videos.
When the test is done, results need to be uploaded on a server in order for the app to provide you with an accurate benchmarking of your device. Depending on the performance, your device's score is displayed in a chart, compared to the scores by the most popular smartphones.
Get system information
Aside from benchmarking your phone, the app can also be used for viewing information on your device. It gives you all the details on your phone, like the Android version that you're running, device model and specifications, CPU, number of cores and frequency, together with the amount of free memory.
You can also check the display, the GPU and extensions. Other than that, it can also show you the type of sensors found on your phone. You can browse through specifications of top phones or run custom benchmarking tests, but that's available only in Advanced and Professional editions. You can get them for 2.99$ the Advanced edition and 24.99$ for the Professional one.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface is dated and need an upgrade, so that it could run smoothly on later versions of Android OS. |
Function6
Considering that it wasn't updated for a couple of years, the app might actually be useless since it compares your device to older ones. |
Security9
It only needs a few permissions from your phone, so it shouldn't pose any privacy issues. |
Battery5
Consumption seems to be a bit high, keep an eye on resources. |
Price7
It's filled with ads and some of its nicer features are only available in premium versions. |
Compatibility9
It should work on devices running Android version 1.5 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
The app is nice, but it hasn't been upgraded in a while.
