Every now and then we see our devices running slower and even freezing up, because they're clogged with junk files and unnecessary data. Every phone or tablet should have an app for cleaning the device of unwanted files and killing apps that run in the background.

Power Clean could do that and much more, it's definitely one of the best optimizers on the market.

Interface that resembles that of another app

The first thing that you'll notice about Power Clean is its fresh and clean interface with lots of features at hand. It even comes with additional themes that you can check out. Power Clean doesn't come with instructions, but if you'd ever used similar apps before, you wouldn't need them.

It has an intuitive interface, with access to all features on the main screen and some settings to make the app your own. The app also comes with a phone boost widget, tap it once and it will boost processes. It also lets you share installed app to friends.

Clean junk files that slow down your phone

The interface comes with animation, when you launch the app three meters display the percentage of available storage space, RAM used and CPU usage. Tap on them to access features faster or use the grid on the bottom.

Power Clean scans your device and displays a list of junk and cache files that could be deleted. Junk files that surpass the size of 500KB will be moved to photo recycle bin when deleting junks and will be cleaned after 7 days.

You can also use the app to manually delete call logs, send/received messages or passwords and accounts to apps. You can get quick access to the app from the notification bar, the toolbar offers shortcuts to features of the app, the gallery, calculator and flashlight. However, there's no option of customizing it or rearranging icons. You can also clean your device of APK and other unnecessary items.

Boost your memory by killing or uninstalling apps that you don't need

One reason why some phones freeze is because CPU usage is high and it's overheating the device, making it slow down. Power Clean comes with a memory booster that kills apps running in the background. It even has a feature that lets you lock access to certain applications.

There's no option of creating a whitelist which means you'll have to manually uncheck that you don't want to kill. The app also comes with a feature that cleans your clipboard, you can find it in the Memory Boost section.

There are some settings that you can make to prevent autostart apps from using your memory. You can kill them at turnoff or have the app alert you when CPU is overused. The app manager is a great way of uninstalling applications that you rarely use and the app also comes with a section containing information on the device.
