Pixgram is a nice app that can let you do just that in an easy way. It takes you through the steps of creating slideshow videos and gives you all the tools you need to make them look great.
Sleek and nice interface
The UI is quite important for such an app, especially since it has to make it easy for users to navigate inside it and take advantage of all of its features. Pixgram doesn't come with instructions or a tutorial, but you wouldn't need it anyway since the app is quite intuitive and takes you through the steps of creating your slideshows by applying filters and sound.
The interface is quite sleek and stylish, background images are HD and users can connect their Instagram or Facebook accounts in order to import pictures more easily.
Select images for slideshows
Pixgram comes with a section that includes one recommended app for users to download. On the bottom of the screen, you'll find a list with all the slideshows you've created using the app, so you can access them instantly. Create slideshows by simply importing pictures from your Facebook or Instagram album, or by adding pictures from your gallery.
You can add up to 60 images, but remember that the order in which you add them is the same order in which they will appear in the slideshow. You can always add more images in the editor or sort by the newest to oldest or shuffle them. In addition, you can crop images to fill the screen or fit them into frames.
Edit pictures and add audio
Filters can be applied to all pictures, but you'll need to be patient as the app takes its time processing depending on the number of images you've added to your slideshow. The next and final step is to add music by accessing your media files or choosing from the many made available inside the app.
You can filter them by genre and they are provided free of charge but need to be downloaded. The duration per slide can be adjusted, you can set it to last up to 3 seconds, but you can't set a different duration per slide.
Still, you can unlock some features if you invite three of your friends to try Pixgram via Facebook. Locked features include the option of entering a title to your slideshow or removing the watermark.
