PicsFlow 1.0.1
PicFlow is one of them and although it's not that complex, it's good for making nice slideshows with images but don't expect the app to give you too many features.
Basic interface with all features at hand
The UI is quite simplistic and it only has some features that you can pick from. It doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of ways in which you may customize the interface.
It opens with some controls on the bottom of the page, but they're actually suggestions of other applications that you may download off Google Play Store. Still, it has a settings menu on the top right corner of the screen but no help or FAQ section for any questions that new users might have.
Create slideshows with your pictures
In order to create slideshows, users need to pick up to 30 pictures from their phone's gallery. The app doesn't connect with any cloud service, so you may only pick images stored on the phone. Next, you may sort them by size, remove the ones that you don't like or rearrange them as you please, so you would decide which one comes after the other.
You can still add pictures anytime during the editing process and the app even lets you change the aspect ratio of photos. When you're done with that the real editing begins. Pick a song from your media gallery to add to the slideshow, but the app won't let you crop them.
Apply filters to pictures
Still, you can decide how much time the app spends per picture, but you can't set different times for them. Other than that you can apply filters to each picture individually or make some other basic changes to them.
You can rotate, reverse or add text to images. The app lets you choose font color, size and type for text. When you're done with that you may have your name mentioned on the bottom of the app's watermark, featured on each picture inside the slideshow.
When you're done, you can save videos to your gallery and share them with friends on various social networks but the app will lower the resolution of each image that you save.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface is okay, although it doesn't follow the general guidelines of Android applications. |
Function8
It works just fine but it could use some more features for creating and editing videos. It also takes a while to save videos. |
Security7
It needs permission to find accounts on your device, although it doesn't need online registration and the request isn't connected to any of its features. |
Battery6
Consumption is a bit high, keep an eye on resources when using this app. |
Price8
It's free but comes with ads and there's no option of removing them. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 4.0 or later, making it inaccessible to some users. |
It's a nice app for creating slideshows but it could use some more features.
