Grocery applications are extremely useful, as they're easy to compile and they keep you from forgetting items to buy. They can also be shared with friends or your family, so that they next time you go to the store, you could buy items for them also.

One of such apps is MyGrocery. It's specially designed for creating grocery lists as it lets you add items easily and create as many lists as you wish. Still, it's quite simplistic and it could use some more features.

Sleek interface that makes good use of animation

The app doesn't come with a tutorial, it launches directly with the home section and grocery lists. You can make some changes to the UI, simply tap on the overflow icon on the top right corner of the screen to get access to settings and options.

You can have the app automatically detect quantities for smart suggestions, enable notifications in the status bar or adjust the text size, from small to large. The app may provide you with smart suggestions, which are recommended products that you buy the most so that you would save time when creating lists.

Create all sort of grocery lists

The app lets you create grocery lists easily, simply by tapping on the new list icon on the toolbar. You can assign whichever name you wish to the list and change the color of the banner, to make it easier to differentiate between them.

You can pick from all sort of colors, like blue, green, yellow, red and more. Simply tap on the plus icon on top to add items. You can modify lists and add items at all times. The app provides you with suggestions of most used items, so make to easier to create lists.

Manage lists

If you can't find the desired item in the most used list, simply type in the name in the search bar on top. Adding quantities is also easy but you'll need to add the number of items first and then the name.

Lists are saved automatically, so you don't need to worry about that and when you've added one product in the cart, simply tap on it to cross it off your list. You can do all sort of changes to lists at any time and you can also export it as text on social networks or invite people to use it and add their own items.

Still, the app could have used a widget for adding products easier and the option to add items to certain categories, so that you would save space at the store.
