Intuitive UI with plenty of instructions
Some users value an easy-to-use UI more than features. Fortunately MixZing Music Player has both. The app doesn't come with a tutorial, but lets you navigate and read instructions as you go.
You can select the default home screen for when the app is opened, enable gestures and display the playing status. Set the app to start playing when you connect headsets, so you don't have to necessarily launch it. The player comes with banner ads, which can be removed for 4.60$.
Listen to various songs on your phone
The app opens with all its features neatly arranged on the screen. Tap on the music icon and the app opens a list of all songs on your phone. There's also a search bar to find artists faster. You can place them all into a playlist, shuffle songs and set the sleep timer so you'd relax while listening to your favorite tunes.
It can automatically find album art and lyrics, if they're missing from the music folder. The app also connects with YouTube, Wikipedia and Google, to provide you with information on the artist. The player can be set to identify the song on the internet and provide you with album art and tags.
Listen to recommended radio stations
MixZing Music Player is advertised as the most advanced media player around. It's true that it has some unique features, but it also needs a bit more work. Fluency within the app should be improved. In order to search for a radio station, users must return to the home screen.
Still, the app provides recommendations based on user preferences and has thousands of radio stations, filtered by genre and popularity. MixZing Music Player streams videos found on your device, but doesn't allow users to create playlists with clips. The app also comes with an equalizer, lock and home screen widgets.
