Magisto is a really popular video editing app that comes with lots of nice features and tools that you can use to create nice videos with pictures or clips on your phone. It also has a community of users who post public videos and comment to clips made by others.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
The app comes with a really nice UI, with a layout make in such a way that it gives you easy access to all sections of the app by using the side menu. It also comes with a tutorial showing new users how to access features inside the app and how to create videos.
Online registration is needed in order to create videos and follow users. Use your Google or Facebook profiles to register with an account or use an email address to sign in. All created videos are saved in an album inside the app, you can check it out at any time or share it on social networks.
Create your own videos
The app makes it easy to create your own videos. Simply browse through your gallery and select the pictures and clips that you want to use. You can pick as many as you like and there's even the option of connecting with Google and using your videos stored on Google Drive.
You can also access the camera and record clips on the spot. You can then pick from various editing styles, depending on the type of video you're going for. You can choose from adventure/sports, love, birthday themes, fashion, etc. The app also has a Surprise Me! feature that allows it to use pictures from your gallery and create videos that only you can watch.
Save and share videos
Aside from various images and effects, themes also contain an audio gallery filled with all sort of songs and tracks that you can check out. The app takes a while to create the videos, so it will notify you when it's done.
You can then save videos inside the app and then share them with friends on social networks. There's also the option of checking out popular videos on the network, rating and commenting. In addition, you can find inspiration under featured albums on the network as all public clips are included in a category.
The app is free but quite limited in the free version so if users wish to get unlimited cloud storage and HQ downloads, then they have to subscribe for 4.59$ per month or 18.35$ per year
