Laya Music Player

The internet is filled with all sorts of music players, but it's still difficult to find the perfect one that incorporates a neat design and all the features that any user needs. While Laya Music Player is really easy-to-use, it lacks some tools that have become basic for many music player apps.

Intuitive UI that could use an update

The interface is really easy-to-use and doesn't need any instructions of use, so you'll get the hang of it in minutes. The app is lacking some customization options, like a visualizer and extra skins to choose from.

Actually, compared to other music players on the market, Laya is rather simplistic and rudimentary, only focused on functionality rather than features to work with. There are no add-ons, so you won't be able to display lyrics and the app doesn't let you make any changes in the title of songs or artists.

Listen to your favorite songs

The app automatically scans your media library and displays all songs divided by albums, artists, genres, songs and in folders. You can create playlists with various songs or listen to podcasts directly from within the app. In addition, the music player streams videos and you can use lock and home screen widgets to make it easier to skip through songs. The annoying banner ads will follow you while navigating the app.

Use the app's five-band equalizer

The music player has a section with audio effects, you can use the five band equalizer with plenty of presets or the reverb. It also comes with a bass booster, so you can enhance your audio experience. But that's about it, the app doesn't display album art and doesn't come with extra features that would make it stand out from other similar players.
