LauncherPro 0.8.6
Simplistic launcher that focuses on efficiency rather than design
The app definitely doesn't sport a complicated design. It removes all icons and folders you've had on the screen and only leaves a couple of apps that were pre-installed on your phone. There's a bar at the bottom of the screen with the app drawer and some shortcuts to other apps.
Screen transition can be changed from settings. To view all apps in the drawer, you'll need to scroll down and not swipe, the gesture in the stock Google launcher. You'll find settings in the menu on the bottom of the screen, under the 'hamburger' icon.
Customize your launcher
The app removes the Google Now bar from your screen and offers you a shortcut in the menu. There you can also find notifications and other sections of the launcher. Wallpapers can be added, but you'll have to search your own gallery as the launcher doesn't come with any new ones.
Still, there are some changes that you can do. Users have the option of hiding apps, choosing the default home screen from the 7 available and selecting from multiple transition effects. Other than that, they can choose how many columns they'd like to be displayed in the app drawer, together with the number of rows.
Some shortcomings
Users also have the option of hiding icon labels, highlighting colors and styles. There's also the option of assigning tasks for gestures and icons on the home screen. The app comes with 2D and 3D app drawer.
LauncherPro is only a shell of the premium version LauncherPro Plus which costs 3.48$ and comes with many more features for your phone. Compared to other launchers, this app is rather simplistic and lacks design enhancements that people normally look for in a launcher.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
It's a so so design, nothing spectacular only some basic features and settings. |
Function8
It works just fine, but could use some more features in order to stand out from other launchers on the market. |
Security9
While it will access many areas of your phone, it shouldn't impose any security or privacy risks. |
Battery8
It doesn't take up that many resources, seeing how it lacks animation and effects so you don't have to worry about that. |
Price9
It doesn't have ads, but the free version has limited features and for more tools you'll have to upgrade to premium for 3.48$. |
Compatibility8
The application should be compatible with smartphones and tablets that run Android version 2.0 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
Frankly, we’ve seen better launchers.
