Intuitive interface but it seems a bit dated
The interface is well arranged, with a side menu on the left to leave plenty of space on the screen for displaying titles and sections. Some settings can be done to the interface, but before you start to adjust the app for reading make sure to remember to log in to your Amazon account.
You can have the app send you notifications or register your current device to the phone In addition to that have the app use volume buttons to turn pages, but keep in mind that such a method could cause some tear to your phone.
Read samples and buy books from the Amazon store
The app loads all books stored on your device, even those included in collections, documents and even newsstands that you've saved in the cloud or on your phone. The store is filled with all sorts of books, divided into multiple categories and topics. You'll find everything there from fiction, to adventure and biographies.
There's also a section with editor's picks, so you'd know where to find all the best books that are trending in the store. There's also a category of books recommended for you, based on your recent purchases and reads. Make payments fast, but don't forget to fetch a sample before just so you could get the feel of the book before actually paying for it.
Read various books
The first time you use the app to read books, you'll be provided with multiple instructions and tips. You have the option of enlarging the text size or adjust the screen's brightness. Font style can also be changed and you can change the background color to make it easier to read the book and avoid the white layout to hurt your eyes.
Other than that you can adjust margins and reduce line spacing. A side menu is available, with quick access to the table of contents and the location of the page you're reading. Swipe the screen or tap on volume buttons to read the next page.
