Story Plot Generator
It's a nice app that all amateur writers could use, especially when they need a bit of inspiration. However, don't expect anything too complex from it since it could use some more tools.
Sleek UI with some tools
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, but you wouldn't really need them since the layout is really simplistic. It only has one screen with some tools on it but it lacks material design.
The app would need a side menu with quick access to sections and it doesn't even have a settings menu, so there are no changes that you can make to the app's UI or its functions.
Still, it has an overflow icon on the top right corner of the screen and you will find only the option to deny the app from collecting information from your phone and sending it online.
Create all sort of plots
It launches with a screen filled with all sort of genres that you can choose from, including action/thriller, drama, space, fantasy, romance and more. You can also pick from horror, suspense and murder scene.
Simply tap on one genre and the app will open suggestions of plots that you can use. The sections inside plots depend on the genre that you pick but some of them are location, complication, character and details. Romance plots come with a situation, complication, a theme and some details. You can change the genre using the icon on the top of the screen.
Some more tools
If you don't like the suggested plot, you can change it using the refresh icon on the top of the screen. It would have been nice if the app let users combine all sort of categories in plots and change the theme of a certain situation. In addition, it could use a feature to come up with plots based on keywords that you input.
Another helpful feature would be one that came up with inspired character or book names. The app comes with some ads, if you want to remove them you'll have to pay 0.99$. The pro version also unlock two more genres superheroes and apocalypse.
