InkPad Notepad - Notes - To do 3.1.16
Nice UI with some features
InkPad launches with a note providing users with all the instructions for making notes and lists in a matter of minutes. You'll find there everything you need to know on how to create notes, purchase items online or sync data online.
The interface resembles those yellowish pages of actual notepads, but comes with many digital features. Because of this, the app doesn't come with extra themes to choose from but you can choose from multiple font sizes.
Use multiple types of fonts
A wider variety of font types would have been nice, considering that the app's main functionality is to display text that users type in. The settings icon hides many features and the option to upgrade to a premium version. Actually, the only thing that ruins the app's old feel of regular notepads is the banner ad, but that fades out after extended use.
The title of the note is automatically set as the first phrase you type in, but you can easily change that. In addition, notes can be sorted by date or alphabetically. The app also remembers a few of the drafts you've made to notes and in order to reverse to a previous version, you must upgrade.
Share and sync notes
All notes are saved automatically so you don't have to worry about that and you can share them on social networks if you wish. Data can be synched online to the InkpadNotepad.com which would make it available on several devices and at any time. You can also email yourself a copy to make sure you can access it without any problems.
Tap on the shopping cart icon and the app opens Amazon.com, allowing you to shop for products named in your note. A premium version costs 1.99$ per month or 19.99$ per year and you'll get unlimited syncing, no more ads and many more features.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface is easy-to-use and comes with instructions. However, icons are gray and might confuse users, since for many apps grayed out icons means they're not available. |
Function8
Plenty of features for you to use, including to make notes, to do lists, sync and share with friends, but there's no option of adding a photo or changing the font. |
Security8
The app needs access to many areas of your phone, including to accounts and location. |
Battery8
You should worry about this app draining your battery, it uses limited power resources. |
Price8
It comes with ads and the sync feature is limited in the free version. A premium account comes with many more features. |
Compatibility8
InkPad should work just fine on tablets and smartphones running Android version 2.3.3 or later. |
A cute app for taking notes and creating to do lists.
