Honeycomb Launcher 1.0.9
It has some customization options and some characteristics that you might not like. There's nothing really special about this app except its layout.
Sleek interface with a really nice design
The app doesn't come with a tutorial but it does have some onscreen tips and instructions as you go navigate in it. Honeycomb Launcher needs a bit of setting up, users would have to pick their favorite contacts and most used apps, so the launcher can create shortcuts for them.
In addition, you can add icons of functions inside the app. The launcher comes with 12 themes that you can pick from and you can even see previews of them so you would make up your mind faster.
Place calls, text friends or access apps and toggle system settings
The whole design behind this app is that of a Honeycomb and all icons are arranged as such. You can rearrange icons by long pressing and dragging them to whichever position you'd like, but initially contacts are placed at the top of the screen. You can place calls by simply tapping on them or send texts.
The floating icon is displayed on each screen and on top of each app that you may use. You can even change its position by dragging it on the screen. The app also lets you toggle the built-in portable Wifi hotspot, no root required or adjust the screen Brightness with bright/dark/auto modes.
Customize the app to your liking
The app lets you add as many contacts as you wish to the home screen. The same goes with toggles and apps. You can also use the search bar to find applications on your phone and add a shortcut in the Honeycomb Launcher.
But there are no other changes that you can make to the UI or features available inside the app. Still, the launcher is available in lock screen, which could pose a privacy issue since your call log is quite a personal information.
Still, you can't place calls in the lock screen and you'll need to unlock your phone so the call could go through.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
The interface is really nice with plenty of features and shortcuts to apps, contacts and system settings. |
Function8
It's a nice launcher, with a floating icon that gives you access to toggles even when other apps are running or in the lock screen, but the app crashes at times. |
Security8
Your most used contacts are visible in the lock screen but calls can't be placed unless you unlock your phone. |
Battery8
Consumption is quite low, so you shouldn't worry about this app draining your resources. |
Price9
It's free but has annoying messages to rate the app and an icon for sharing the app with friends. |
Compatibility8
It should work just fine on devices running Android version 2.3 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
A really nice launcher with floating icon but it could use some more work.
