Considering that people use their smartphones extensively, like they been glued to their hands, it's only natural that they need a launcher app to make it easier to find apps and information on their phones. A launcher can also provide sufficient tools to customize the home screen and make it your own. Galaxy Launcher is definitely lightweight and easy-to-use.

Intuitive launcher with some settings

The app performs really well and manages to rearrange your home screens in a matter of seconds. You can set your default home screen, make it either the left, right or middle page.

There's also the option of changing the layout by adjusting the number of rows and columns, but most launchers come with this feature. The app is based on the famous launcher installed on Galaxy S5 phones, so it copies most of the design from there.

Change the layout of the screen

Galaxy Launcher comes with two scrolling effects compared to other popular apps, but to make this more interesting, you can set the app to enable elastic scrolling, thus adding some effects. You can set the app to auto remove empty screen so you don't have to be bothered with that or show the search bar on each home screen.

There are many other changes that you can do to your home screens, like hide apps from the Google drawer or change the grid or margins. Transparency can be added to the background of folders, the color can be modified and you can set the app to remove text below icons.

Unlock features in the premiums version

The size of icons can be changed, but the app doesn't come with any animation or wallpapers for your background. Galaxy wallpapers must be downloaded separately from Google Play, but they are free of charge.

You could set gestures for multiple features of this app, but they're only available in the premium version, which costs 3.70$ and unlocks many more tools.
