Easy-to-use interface packed with features

You'd expect a camera app to sport an intuitive interface packed with features and you wouldn't be wrong. Still, before you can get access to the app, you'll need to register with your Facebook or Twitter profiles, or use an email address.

The app needs authorization to post to your friends on Facebook and Twitter, so be aware of this before you register. The setup takes up quite some time, even after you log in to your account, you'll still need to provide more information. You can have friends find you by email or phone number, and provide a description of yourself and the city in which you live.

Tweak settings to your profiles

FxCamera is more than a camera app, it also has a social component. Users can find friends to follow, edit their profiles by adding cover photos and personal information. Notifications can also be enabled, so you could receive alerts when people follow you, comment to your pictures or repost photos that you've taken with the app.

There's also a section with your activity in the app and one with people you follow. In addition, you can search for pictures by selecting from the multitude of tags made available inside the app. Categories are also available, including food, art and holidays.

Snap a picture or import one from the gallery

Although it's a camera app, it also lets you import pictures from the gallery to the photo editor but the app excels at camera effects. Users also have the option of searching for pictures online. After you snap pictures make sure to add one of the many effects that the app offers.

You also have the option of cropping and scaling pictures, adding borders, adjusting brightness or adding filters to your images. Additional effects can be found in a separate category, the app lets you pick from professional effects that make your pictures look distorted or misplaced and even non-symmetrical, but still artistic.
