Sleek unit converter filled with all sorts of surprises

We've gotten used to unit converters with boring interfaces and dated design. Unsurprisingly, many developers focus on functionality rather than design especially when it comes to utility apps with which users normally don't spend a lot of time. However, Flib is a breath of fresh air in this section. It's probably the most intelligent unit converter on the market with a truly sleek design.

Well-structured and designed interface

When you first launch the app is selects a random color for the interface, users can always change it in settings. The app doesn't come with any instructions, but the UI is quite interesting and intuitive so users won't have trouble with navigating in this app.

All sections are displayed in a grid and arrows on the right allow users to scroll up and down. However, there's no shortcut to settings in the main page and users must open a section to find the designated icon. Simply tap on the color icon to randomly change the color of the interface, but there's no list of shades for fast access.

Truly lightweight app

Flib might actually be the most lightweight and sleek utility app in Google Play Store. Its size is only 606k, but packs 13 functions to choose from. Users may convert volumes easily by selecting one of the many unit of measurement.

You can convert angles, areas, bases, length, data and much more. When attempting to convert energy, you can choose from multiple units of measurement, switch and input information. Sadly the app doesn't allow users to copy results and paste them in a separate document.

It remembers your choices

It can also be used for calculating speed, temperature, power and pressure, in total 13 sections to choose from but if you want more, there's the option of emailing developers and seeing your requests implemented in a later version.

Flib is a great app for your math, physics or trigonometry classes, since it remembers which sections you've used the most and moves them to the top of the list.

Design / UI10 It's one of the most beautiful interfaces that we've seen in an utility app. Sleek but also intuitive it makes navigation easy and has plenty of colors to switch through.	Function9 It's easy to use, but doesn't come with instructions. Also, new users must get accustomed to tapping on the grid icon, rather than on the back button.	Security10 It only needs access to the internet and that's just during the installation process, thus the app doesn't pose any security issues.
Battery9 Consumption is low so you don't have to worry about your battery the next time you use this app.	Price10 It's completely free of charge, no ads or in-app purchases whatsoever.	Compatibility8 It needs devices running Android version 4.0 or later to work, making it inaccessible to some users.
