Easy-to-use convertor
Unit Converter sports a clean design and a user-friendly interface. By default, the program uses a light theme, which can be changed to a dark one from the app's settings.
The main screen shows a list including all the conversion categories, with your favorite conversions displayed first. The list can be filtered from the preferences screen to show only the categories you need.
Convert units
Tapping on a category brings into view the conversion screen. Performing a conversion is as easy as selecting the source and destination units, entering a value and tapping the Calculate button. It comes with a magnetic field strength converter, among other things.
The app also includes a basic calculator that you can use to enter values. If you want to see at a glance conversions from a specific unit to all the supported units, the quick list view is the place to go. Resulted values can be copied to the clipboard and pasted into other apps.
Many functions to support several categories
Unit Converter supports a large number of categories, ranging from acceleration and angle to volume and weight. In case you cannot find the units you need, the Plus version also allows you to create custom ones. Also exclusive to the Plus version is the possibility to search for units by name in the different categories.
The app also includes a currency converter that works the same way as the unit converter. Exchange rates are retrieved from the internet and can be updated manually or automatically. The free version supports more than 60 currencies, the Plus version increasing the number to 169.
