Endomondo Sports Tracker 10.5.3
Beautiful interface packed with features
The UI is very stylish and well structured, so you wouldn't even mind that it doesn't come with additional themes or customization options. Online registration is done either with a Google or Facebook account or an email address.
The tutorial will guide you through the steps of creating a training program and discovering all neat features included in the app. The side menu offers quick access to all sections and you'll have to enable location services if you wish to operate this app.
Workout using this app
Before you start working out, launch the app to select a program. You can choose from aerobics, running, walking, climbing, etc. Have the app display the duration of your workout, the distance or your speed and pace. It will also show the average heart beat, burned calories and your time goal.
A map with your route is displayed on the right side of the screen, the app uses your GPS to track the distance and the location. Tap on play and start running. Access your player from the top of the screen and view your workout history in the menu. The app also comes with an audio coach that helps you stay motivated all throughout the workout. But it's a computer voice that may get annoying.
Training plan
Users may also connect with friends from Facebook or Google+ to view their activity within the community. Challenges can also be created, add pictures, goals, sports and dates and compete against your friends. Another neat feature in the app is the training plan. \
The app collects information on your age, weight and height, as well as your goal and body endurance to create a plan with scheduled workouts that would help you reach objectives in a timely manner and without posing any threats to your health. It provides you with suggestions on miles to run and walk each day, as well as the time in which you should do so.

Bottom Line
Design / UI10
The interface is almost flawless, data is displayed clearly on the screen and it features graphs with statistics. |
Function9
Great for tracking workouts and creating plans to reach your training goals. It gives you reminders and has a voice coach to keep you motivated. |
Security9
It collects data on your personal profile and your friends', but it shouldn't pose any privacy risks. |
Battery7
Considering that it uses your device's GPS, consumption is high but it's perfectly normal and location services are turned off after the workout ends. |
Price9
No ads but it comes with in-app purchases that would unlock many more features. Prices start at 2.50 a month. |
Compatibility8
The developer didn't mention Android versions required for this app, but it should work both on smartphones and smartwatches. |
A nifty workout app that's packed with features but still has a clean interface.
