People use their phones for almost anything nowadays, so it's no wonder that they have issues with power consumption and need to charge their phones every day. But battery can be saved with a few tricks or a special app. Google Play Store is filled with various apps for saving battery and it's difficult to find an efficient one. Easy Battery Doctor is one of such apps.

Sleek interface with plenty of features

The app doesn't come with any instructions of use, but it has an intuitive layout with a settings menu on the top right corner of the screen. All sections are neatly arranged on the bottom and the app doesn't come with any sort of ads. You can set the app to auto-clean memory when the screen is off, display a notice when the battery reaches a certain level or make a sound when your battery is fully charged.

In addition, you can set the app to auto start or show power levels in the status bar. Easy Battery Doctor also comes with charging and battery maintenance tips, to help users reduce consumption in critical moments. But, you'll notice several spelling mistakes, this is one of the app's shortcomings.

Optimize your phone and save battery

Most similar apps have an optimization feature that scans all apps running in the background and helps you kill them. You can set a whitelist with exceptions of apps and you can set Easy Battery Doctor to even turn off WiFi.

Tap on the optimize now icon to kill apps but you'll notice that some of them won't close and will continue to run in the background. In this section, the app also displays the status of your battery, temperature and voltage, so you'd have all the tools to monitor it.

Choose from various battery saving modes and see which apps take up the most battery

Easy Battery Doctor also displays the speed with which your battery is charging and the approximate duration. The app comes with preset modes for saving battery and lets users create their own advanced customized mode.

Other than that, the rank section is filled with a list of apps installed on your phone and the percentage of power they've consumed. But the list is extremely short and doesn't feature most of them, so you won't be able to check if your favorite app is a battery drainer.
