One of the ways in which you can change the whole feel of your Android phone is by changing the launcher. Fortunately, Google Play Store offers users a whole array of options, ranging from launchers that are rather stylish and elegant, to those that sport a really futuristic design.

EZ Launcher falls somewhere between, it has a nice design but different from any other launcher on the market. Still, the layout is somewhat similar with what we were used to on our Android devices.

Sleek interface with some customization options

The app doesn't come with any instructions or a tutorial to get you started, but you shouldn't really need them since the UI is quite intuitive. The launcher has a time and date widget on the home screen, but you must download it on your phone in order to get information on weather also.

Still, the widget is really customizable and comes in three different shapes and sizes. It lets you pick a location and the temperature format, as well as the refresh interval so you wouldn't waste battery and data resources. Other than that, the app has some customization features.

Customize the launcher on your phone

The first and most important thing that any launcher should have is a gallery with wallpapers, if not themes as well. EZ Launcher has one with lots of beautiful and HD pictures that you can add as your wallpaper in the background. You can also allow the wallpaper to scroll with the home screen and adjust the screen grid size.

In addition to that, the app lets you manage screens and add as many as you like. The weather widget isn't the only one available, you can also download one with all sort of system toggles and one that shows you how much CPU your phone uses and lets you optimize your phone.

Other features

It also has a Google Now sort of search bar, but it's all part of the same widget. A calendar and sms widget is also available, you can even install one for your internet searches and bookmarks. Still, the launcher doesn't come with any screen transition effects or other sort of animation.

But it does have a task and app manager that lets you kill processes running in the background as to free up memory. Apps in the drawer can also be sorted based on the ones that you use the most, using the Genius feature.
