Computer File Explorer retrieves all folders on your device and offers you an experience resembling that on your computer. It's really easy to navigate inside the app and get an overview of files stored on your phone.
Easy-to-use interface
The UI is quite intuitive, the app launches directly with the home page featuring a list of your most important folders. Use tabs to navigate through multiple directories, while tools are displayed at the top of the screen and in the settings menu.
The UI doesn't come with a tutorial, but you wouldn't need one since the interface resembles that of file managers on Windows computers. It has multiple themes that you can choose, in order to change the whole appearance of the app. It also lets you switch through multiple languages and make some settings to the app.
Manage your files easily
It's quite easy to organize your files using this app. All major directories are listed on the left side of the screen, including a folder with applications and a shortcut to your SD card.
You can search for files by typing in keywords and using the search bar. You can also create new folders, libraries, text files and even transfer files to other devices. Folders can be grouped by name, type, size or parent directory.
Batch selection is available, so you can select multiple files to remove from your device. In addition, you can uninstall multiple applications simply by adding them to a list. It also displays running applications on your device, you can kill them instantly.
More features
It plays videos and audio tracks directly inside the app, without having to launch a music player. It plays videos in a small thumbnail on the bottom, so you can watch a clip while you continue to organize files.
However, it can't be enlarged and you can't view clips in their original size. Still, you can make some changes to the app like have it show hidden files and toggle sounds on or off. Extensions can be installed, to make it easier to manage files. You can choose from photo and text editors, together with a 3D viewer for your phone.
