Cal 1.1.6
Sleek and stylish interface
Ease-of-use seems to be the most important aspect of this app, the layout is arranged to make it easy to scroll through days while leaving enough space on the screen for viewing events for a particular day. You'll need to sign up with an account, the app registers your Google accounts on the network and automatically imports events entered in the stock calendar.
Some changes can be made to the interface, you can select topics for background images and have them displayed randomly. Tap on images and the app opens the source, usually Tumblr. You don't have to worry about image quality, they're all HD and top quality.
Organize your activities and never forget a meeting
The toolbar on the top of the screen lets you scroll through days of the week and months. Say you would like to enter an event on a certain date, the app mentions if the day is next week or month, which makes it easier to you to remember it.
But you wouldn't have to since you can set reminders for days in advance or even create a custom reminder. Add the location and participants, together with notes and have the app repeat events monthly or yearly. Drag the toolbar down for month view and make sure to choose the first day of the week so you wouldn't get confused.
Sync your calendar with Any.do tasker and use the HeadsUp feature in meetings
You have the option of syncing your activities, tasks and to dos entered in Any.do Task List to the calendar. The tasks are displayed neatly and you can even make changes to them and add due dates.
The app syncs many calendars on your phone and the HeadsUp feature tells you how much time you've git until a certain event starts, it may display directions, the list of invitees and more. During the meeting, you can shoot a video, take pictures, record voice or add tasks, so you wouldn't forget any important details. There's also the option of sending an email. Cal also syncs with your Facebook and imports your friends birthdays.
