Browser for Android 1.1.5
However, it's quite a nice change from the main browsers that you might also use on your computer but it takes away the pleasure of having access to your favorite bookmarks from multiple devices.
Ordinary interface with not that many features
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions for new users who aren't accustomed to the app, so you'll need to discover its features on your own. It sports a really simplistic interface with only a few features, while the design is quite boring with only a gray theme that can't be changed into another color.
Still, you have access to all sort of features in a toolbar on the bottom of the page. The app launches directly with the home page, featuring content that can be easily customized.
Customize the app easily
Browser for Android displays your most used bookmarks on the home screen, together with the recent history of visited pages using browsers on your phone. The home page can be customized, you can have the app open with your start page, a blank or custom one. You can even change the search engine and pick the one that you like the most.
The app also lets you synchronize bookmarks with Firefox, but no other browsers available out there. In addition, users can set the default zoom level and load images with overview. Also, the app lets you use ad-block and whitelist certain websites so that you wouldn't have trouble browsing the internet.
Browse the internet easily
You can add links to certain websites on your start screen or share pages with your friends on social networks. In addition, you can find certain words in pages or select text and switch to the mobile view. Bookmark pages easily by simply tapping an icon and the browser even has back and forward icons.
You can browse the internet using tabs, simply slide the screen to navigate through them and tap on one icon to close them. However, the app doesn't automatically open the last visited page and it doesn't have incognito mode but you can make some privacy changes.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface is a bit boring, with a boring gray design that can't be changes although it provides plenty of space for displaying pages. |
Function8
It works just fine, although it's missing some features and could use more tools since there are some complex browsers available. |
Security6
It doesn't come with incognito mode but it does need few permissions from your phone which is great. |
Battery8
Consumption is moderate, the browser won't drain your battery unless you spend a lot of time on the internet. |
Price8
It comes with annoying popup ads and there's no option of removing them. |
Compatibility9
It needs devices running Android version 2.1 or later, making the app accessible to many users. |
It's a nice browser, but it needs more features especially incognito mode.
