AndExplorer

Explore and manage files on your phone easily using this neat app
People like to store lots of files on their phones and even if you try to keep things neat under the UI, there always will be some folders that you've missed. For example, when you uninstall an app it sometimes leaves empty folders and some items on your device, taking up storage space.

An app that could help you remove unwanted folders and delete the files that you no longer need is AndExplorer. It's simple but fast, and provides users with all the features that they may need in order to organize their files.

Sleek and intuitive interface

The app launches directly to the home screen, without providing users with any kind of instructions or a tutorial to get started. Still, it has a really intuitive interface so you shouldn't have any trouble with accessing all the features inside the app.

It doesn't have an additional theme, so you'll have to get used to the one with black background but it does come with a toolbar filled with all sort of icons. You can make some initial settings to the app, before starting to organize and manage your files.

Adjust preferences to your liking

AndExplorer lets you pick the home directory on your phone, simply browse through all of the folders that you have. Moreover, you can have it show hidden files, file extensions, thumbnails and details like filename, size and date.

Font size can be adjusted and users can pick the zip encoding for their archives. You can use this app even on non-rooted phones, in case you don't wish to change too many settings on your phone.

Organize your files easily

Users have the option to rename files, create additional folders and move files there. You can also search for specific files by typing in key words. Sort files by name, size and date to make it easier to find them. You can also compress files, but you'll need to upgrade to the premium version for that.

The pro version costs 1.09$ and it's a one-time purchase. The app lets you send files via email or social networks. Still, it could use icons for the most important features, like delete, rename or copy/paste, so that users wouldn't have to click on the overflow icon and search for the tool in the list.
