Action Launcher 3 3.2.1
Action Launcher 3 is a nice launcher but it lacks some of the basic features found in similar apps, while others are paid although many launchers offer them for free.
Some customization options
The app comes with some tips showing new users how to operate inside the app and access all its features. Action Launcher 3 comes with a few themes, but they're quite similar and it also has the option of applying one that allows you to change the wallpaper.
In fact, the app is quite limited when it comes to design enhancements and unique features, as the only interesting theme is locked in the free version. Still, when you first launch the app you're given the option to import folders and settings from your previous launcher, in case you wished to keep some previously make settings.
Tweak settings to make the app your own, but only in the premium version
The nice thing about this app is that it lets you change the color of the status bar, the search box, app background, app drawer and folder background. It provides you with some colors and shades to pick from but they're only available in the premium version for 4.62$.
Many other features are locked, like text color, the option to hide apps and to apply a scrolling wallpaper. Still, you can create folders of icons on your home screen and change the number of apps per column and row.
Shortcuts can also be enabled from the settings menu and there's a whole help section that you can check out. The quickdrawer lets you access all of your apps fast, by simply swiping the screen right.
Create covers for app folders
One neat feature inside the app is the option to create covers for folders filled with apps, so that they wouldn't spoil the whole appearance of your home screen. But other than that, the app doesn't really come with anything new, only some really basic features that all launchers have.
More tools are only available in the premium version, although there are other launchers on the market that offer them for free. One of the most important part of any launcher is the themes it provides, but Action Launcher 3 only comes with a few boring ones.
