3G Watchdog comes with widgets of two sizes, one that automatically enables mobile data connection and one that displays quota usage in percentages. The widget also includes a time bar and text colors to reflect status. In addition, you can set an alert for when phone is in roaming.
Set up a monthly plan of data usage
If you ever wanted to keep track of data usage, you can do so with 3G Watchdog. This app comes with various tools for setting your daily/weekly/monthly plan. Alerts can also be created for when quota surpasses a certain level or, mobile data can be automatically disabled. You can also adjust the update frequency of notifications and the widget, in order to receive real time data and to save battery. Also, quota counters can be set with the touch of a button.
Real time values for mobile and WiFi internet usage
The mobile internet usage section includes a chart of mobile and WiFi usage, with columns of received, sent and total data. Data on internet usage for the current day, week and month is also displayed. In addition, a bar features the amount of data used and the time elapsed until the plan ends. A history of all data traffic is also available, but only for the last 31 recorded days. Lists can be imported or exported to phone's memory.
Under real time traffic display, you'll find information on the amount of data applications use. Tap on one application and 3G Watchdog will display how much data the app used today, whether it was WiFi or mobile and the last time you've visited it. Also, you can disable applications from this menu.
