XnRetro is one of photography apps that can help you enhance your pictures by applying filters and effects to them. You can also add frames and all sorts of other things to your pictures to make them stand out before you share them on social networks.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
The UI of this application isn't that different from that of other similar apps, as it has a home page with access to the main sections of the app, like the photo album, camera and settings.
It doesn't come with any instructions or tips to show users how to navigate in the app and take advantage of all its tools. But it does have a section filled with other applications created by the same developer and shortcuts for connecting your Facebook or Twitter accounts to import pictures from there and edit them inside the app.
XnRetro also lets you crop pictures to various sizes of your choice or choose the output size of up to 2048px. In addition, you can select the destination folder of your choice.
Edit pictures like a professional
The great thing about this app is that it lets you import pictures fast and edit them instantly. But before you can do that, you must either keep their original size or crop them to your choice.
Afterward, you'll be able to make editing changes to the picture. You can either change the brightness, contrast or saturation of the original picture. You also have the option of rotating pictures or applying filters.
The app comes with multiple choices, including black and white, retro and light effects. Tap on the dice for the app to add effects randomly.
Add frames and overlays to your pictures
Other than the basic editing tools, the app also lets you adjust light effects and focus on your picture. You can also apply various overlays to images or use frames to make them stand out.
There are plenty of frames available, including those that resemble old polaroid pictures. Save the picture or share it with friends on social networks. But not all filters and effects are available for free and you can unlock them if you purchase the premium version for 1.39$.
