This application offers a simple and efficient layout, where the cool graphics are accompanied by a neat design, with a convenient placement of all the features and tools.

The workspace and preview area take up most of the screen, but the various commands and controls have plenty of room too, some of them overlapping the canvas, but without hindering the view too much, as they are transparent.

If going through the various sections of XnRetro is smooth and glitch-free, there are some annoying ads inside several areas of the app, while some prompts to review the app will start appearing at startup after a few uses.

Lots of filters and other enhancements ready for use

With this app you will be able to either choose a saved picture from the local storage or activate the camera app and capture a fresh snapshot to put on the canvas.

The list of effects is quite decent and there are several black and white filters alongside numerous color effects, some of which are not available until you purchase the Pro version.

Besides these enhancements, you can also add vignetting of different styles or include some beautiful light effects. For these modifications you have a fine-tuning control at your fingertips and it comes in the form of a basic slider you can use to adjust the effect intensity.

Add cool frames then adjust the image position and colors

XnRetro brings you a wide variety of frames, over 30, which you can apply to the photo queued for editing and just like the filters and light effects, a few of these are locked and require a small fee to use on the output pictures.

Before saving the customized photos, you can make some last minute adjustments to the orientation or to the contrast, hue and brightness by using the dedicated functions placed inside the main menu.
