Photo Studio by KVADGroup 1.9.0.1
Sleek and intuitive interface
An easy-to-use UI is crucial for any photography app, to make sure users don’t lose time trying to figure out how the app works and discovering all its features. While Photo Studio doesn’t come with a tutorial, it’s well structured with a clever design that makes it easy to use even if this is the first time you’ve come across such an app.
Swipe through the gallery of photos on the bottom and open sections from the top of the screen. There are no ads to take up screen space or distract your attention from working on images.
Browse through photos or snap one instantly
You’ll need a photo to start editing, so snap one using the phone’s camera or browse through your gallery. The editor section is well arranged, with tool on the bottom of the screen leaving plenty of space to display pictures. It comes with all the usual editing tools, like crop, resize, rotate etc.
Colors and brightness can also be adjusted but the app stands out with its large selection of filters and effects to overlay images. There are 150+ filters, so developers divided them into packs. However, not all are free of charge and must be unlocked by unlocked by purchasing the premium version for 3.96$. The blend tool lets you combine two images together using different blend modes and masks.
Add effects and create collages
The same goes with effects, their number is quite impressive and the quality is top-notch. You can also add frames, stickers and even draw on pictures. It lets you add realistic digital frames to your photo made with wood, glass and steel. Collages can easily be created from the main page and there's the option of combining pictures together to create a unique one.
Choose from multiple backgrounds, colors, ratios and adjust borders. You also have the option of picking from multiple frames, including some artistic ones but not all are unlocked in the free version. The app lets you create digital frames with color and width customization.
Text and color splashes can also be added. Save pictures into two formats, either JPG or PNG. Output color can also be adjusted and you can even choose the destination folder. Download add-ons for more features or the camera app by the same developer, in order to add filters even before pictures are taken.
