Music Player by Easyelife 2.1.1
Music Player by Easyelife is a really nice app that helps you create playlists and arrange your music in a really nice way so that you can listen to it easier. It comes with some features but it's also buggy and could use more features. In addition, it doesn't come with a widget.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions for new users who have just installed the app and wish to try it. It launches directly with the list of all audio tracks found on your device and it doesn't much time to scan your device and retrieve them. You can filter songs by artists, albums and even folders, a feature that not many music players have.
A side menu gives you access to all sections inside the app, including to settings and to the different skins that you can try out. The number of themes is limited, but it's nice to try them out, especially since there aren't many apps that come with additional skins.
Listen to songs and create playlists
The music player lets you create multiple playlists and to organize your music into whichever way you want. You can rename and add as many songs as you want to a playlist. Navigate through the app while listening to music, the toolbar on the bottom lets you skip or pause tracks.
Controls are also found in the notification bar and in the lock screen. Users may manually search for certain songs by typing in keywords. However, this feature doesn't seem to work properly and the interface starts flickering each time you access the phone's keyboard.
Other features
The app comes with a separate section in which you can rescan your phone's media files and retrieve new tracks that you may have added. In addition, you can select the play mode and have the app repeat playlists or close after the last song was played.
A sleep timer can also be set. It comes with a 6-band equalizer, combined with bass, virtualizer and plenty of presets to choose from. You can have the app fade volume in and out when switching through songs or have the app completely close and the phone enter flight mode when the sleep timer reaches zero. Users can also change songs by shaking their phones.
