LockWiz 2.30

Protect your privacy and security on your Android phone
Considering that people store lots of personal information on their phones it's only normal that they would be highly concerned with keeping their phones secure and protected.

Google Play Store is filled with all sort of apps that could help you with that, one of which is LockWiz. It helps you set individual locks to certain applications on your phone, blocking anyone who wants to access them without a master password.

Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand

The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, it simply launches with the lock screen allowing users to create their own master password, either a pattern or PIN.

Afterward, you must choose a security question and provide the app with an answer so that LockWiz would give you a hint if you forget your password. LockWiz doesn't really have many customization features, the UI is quite intuitive featuring a bright blue background but there's no option of changing the color.

Lock applications on your phone

The number of apps is displayed on the home screen, simply tap on it to open the list of applications installed on your device. LockWiz displays all apps on your phone and lets you lock/unlock them with a simple tap. You can lock as many apps as you wish, when someone tries to access them they'll need to type in the password.

It also has an unlock error log so you can see whenever wrong passwords were entered. You can switch passwords at any time or change the security question and answer. Other than that, you can have the app take photos of someone who might enter the wrong password. In addition, an alarm can be enabled or get notifications for locking newly installed apps.

Multiple features

Moreover, the app can be set to auto-lock when re-entering LockWiz. Users may also set the app to automatically lock at a certain time of the day, either when you're at work or home. The same can be done with WiFi networks, the app may be set to activate whenever you connect to a certain internet network.

Guest Mode is for when your friends borrow your phone and you don't want them to access certain applications installed on it. All in all, the app is quite nifty and seems to work just fine although it could use some more features and nicer visuals.
