Neat looking and well organized GUI
The appearance of this utility is pretty nice, as it features some well designed graphics that are consistent from end to end and also has some cool looking backgrounds.
There is a minor letdown insofar as some of the quality of some images presented inside the app is concerned, as the album covers or other pics look a bit rough around the edges.
The content is very well structured and easy to access, so you have many categories at your disposal to find radio stations, podcasts or other streams you like.
Go through thousands of stations to pick the ones you like
TuneIn Radio is very well equipped when it comes to streaming content, so you can play pretty much any kind of music you want, listen to talk radios, sports or general news, all structured according to a wide variety of topics.
Sometimes it may happen that some radio stations you select are not streaming any content for some reason, but the diversity is so great that it is hard not to find a replacement very quickly.
Each time you come across a certain radio you like, you can tap the favorite button and have it sent to the corresponding area of the app. Sharing the stations is also one tap away and you can send the specific TuneIn Radio link via SMS, email or through the social networks you subscribed to.
To view the radio's lineup, with the upcoming programs you can visit the corresponding section of the application. Also, you have a separate module where similar stations are shown.
Quick configuration and extra options at a glance
A very neat feature of this utility is the built-in sleep timer that enables you to quickly choose a time interval after which the streaming will be stopped automatically.
You can customize the "Live" section of TuneIn Radio by picking up to 8 stations that will be displayed inside that area for quick access. Also, with the location services activated, the app will be able to provide you all the local radios that are active in your area.
