PressureDiary 1.5.0
Windows Phone owners have at their disposal a varied choice of utilities and among those tailored for keeping track of the blood pressure values there is one that goes by the name of PressureDiary.
Simple and easy to use layout
The interface of this application is quite decent, with an appropriate background and some well designed graphics. The content is kept pretty well structured, with the measurements grouped by months and fairly easy to access from the corresponding area.
The data selection and entry is fluent, while browsing the readings or going through the few sections of the app can be done with the utmost ease. On the whole, the PressureDiary experience is smooth and lacking any glitches or other hindrances from the visual perspective.
Input the measurements in no time
The method employed by this utility when it comes to adding the readings is pretty simple. More precisely you can use the scrollable lists of numbers and pick the value displayed by the physical device used to measure the blood pressure.
By default, the systolic, diastolic and pulse values are set to the normal values, so this will make it even easier to make the necessary modifications. Adding the precise date and time before saving the entry is also possible.
Basic data management and sharing
PressureDiary stores all the measurements in the order they were added and groups them each by month. Thus, in order to view the records for a certain day or several ones, you can browse the corresponding group.
Tap and press any entry inside the month view to reveal the command for deleting it and if you want to export the data you can do the same thing for the respective group under the "Measurements" screen, as long as you configured the outgoing address in the "Settings" area.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The appearance of the app is decent, not too appealing, but rather inclined towards practicality, as it has a well organized layout. |
Function6
There are some basic features packed inside this utility, so users will have the possibility to add blood pressure readings and send them via email, but there is no way of reordering, editing or saving them. |
Security10
A discreet and well behaved application, PressureDiary leaves alone every bit of data stored onto the phone, as it doesn't go anywhere close the sensitive areas. |
Battery9
The minimal resource usage also translates into a very reduced power consumption that, in turn has a very low impact on the battery usage. |
Price8
A pretty good tool to have for those who want to keep a log of their blood pressure readings, the app is rather limited in terms of functions it comes with as compared to other similar utilities. |
Compatibility9
Most mobile users will have the possibility to have this app installed and running as it supports Windows Phone 7.5 and higher devices. |
