You have the possibility to change the appearance of the utility by picking a different theme, as the app comes with two skins, a light and a dark one. Going through the menus and list of recorded results is smooth and without glitches.

In order to start the measurements with NeoCardiograph you have to press the "On" button and then place your finger inside the dedicated area and keep it pressed until the test is complete. The preliminary results are collected at intervals of a few seconds and they are displayed promptly in the main screen.
There is also a "Sport" mode you can use while running this application and it provides a scale for the readings that ranges from 123 up to 179 heartbeats per minute. A neat feature of the app is the ability to alert you in case it detects symptoms of bradycardia or tachycardia.
